Mehdi Taremi stunning goal to Benfica goes viral

Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi last night drew media attention with a goal similar to that of Robbie Van Persie.

Taremi’s 30-minute goal was not enough to escape the defeat of the Portuguese league champions, and the match ended with a 3-2 draw to Benfica’s side to remove Taremi’s assistants from the Portuguese Cup.
